Parents struggled with their toddlers and preschoolers, then feel like they can come up for air a bit when their kids move into the school age development stage. But somewhere around the age of 9 or 10, something goes terribly wrong and parents begin to believe their older kids are going CRAZY! Well, the truth is… they are. Because of a number of chemical and biological changes going on in the tween’s and teen’s body, their behavior changes and sometimes for the worst.
Sit back and relax and listen to a live lecture conducted by award-winning author, parenting expert, and television producer and host, Bill Corbett. This entertaining audio presentation will have you laughing at parents and teens alike as he lays out the irrefutable issues with raising teens. In this one hour and 20 minute audio recording in front of a live audience, Bill explains what it takes to become a successful parent with the modern day teenager.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR CHILD SAYS, “I’M BORED!”
Your child being bored is her problem, not yours. But it’s so hard to ignore what seem to be pleas for help. The loving parent in us reacts to these pleas by offering suggestions. But her response is usually, “I don’t want to do that.” After a few more rejected suggestions we become so annoyed. One solution is to create the I’M BORED BASKET. On slips of paper, come up with some chores your child could do to help you out. Place them in a basket or jar. Whenever your child complains to you that she’s bored, if the urge to ignore her is too much for you, simply say to her, “I can see that you’re bored. If you can’t find something to do, you’ll get to pick something out of the I’M BORED BASKETT. Let’s see how many times she complains out loud in the future! “Now that I’ve completed the course, I can’t wait to get home and start using these techniques. Being aware of how my own behavior affects my children’s behavior is so important to beginning the change process. I can’t wait to use these techniques to inspire my boys to reach their full potential and enable them to “sing their song.” Thank you so much!”
